Prompted by the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, this episode just begins to explore the disconnect between our true intuition that every human life is of infinite value, in contrast and connection to the reality of mass suffering such as what we're seeing in Ukraine. What do we do with this, and how do we see God's role in this?

I appreciate your compassionate heart and empathy you have for those vulnerable, oppressed, and suffering. It is overwhelming. I’m reminded of God’s guidance of what He requires of us: “He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8). All we can do is to love, pray, and do what we can when we can. He is and will raise up others to also care and share the burden of others. Thank you, Ben.
